Today, we are celebrating Kim Goldfeder Clarke as our Entrepreneur of the Day! Kim is the founder of Mr. Bentley’s World, LLC and the winner of The Great American Baking Show.

Born and raised on Long Island, Kim Goldfeder Clarke has worn many hats throughout her career, from actress to baker to animal rescue advocate. After graduating from SUNY Binghamton, she won a singing scholarship to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. For over 15 years, she performed in musicals and plays across the globe, including notable roles like Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Val in A Chorus Line, Polly Baker in Crazy for You, and Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday. Her TV and film appearances include Sex and the City, And Just Like That, Law and Order: SUV, The Good Wife, and MTV’s Remote Control.

In 2006, Kim founded Mr. Bentley’s World, LLC, a social media company that serves as a platform for entertainment and animal rescue awareness. Through her online persona, “Da Mama,” and her family—“Da Daddy” and “Da Grandmama”—Kim has built an online community where fans can connect with her while supporting animal rescue efforts. The platform has grown to over 60,000 international followers, and Kim regularly engages her audience with live Facebook videos to raise awareness for the need for foster and forever homes for animals in need.
While acting and animal rescue advocacy have always been at the forefront of Kim’s life, baking is her other great passion. After years of being encouraged by family and friends to take her love for baking seriously, Kim entered The Great American Baking Show. Kim was crowned the winner of season 8 (season 3 on the Roku Channel) taking home the prestigious cake stand trophy. You can watch Kim’s season yourself by streaming it on The Roku Channel. Kim sees baking as a way to share a piece of your heart with someone special, and her passion for creating delicious treats is a testament to that philosophy.

As a lifelong animal rights activist, Kim has used her platform not only to entertain but also to raise awareness for causes she cares deeply about. In 2012, she produced and performed in a one-night fundraising benefit of the original play The Jungle Fun Room at New World Stages, which raised over $25,000 for Long Island Bulldog Rescue, a nonprofit organization. This event was just one example of how Kim has combined her talents to support the causes she believes in.
When asked about her advice for women who want to start their own business, Kim said, “Absolutely go for it! Life is difficult and more often than not, there are people who say ‘No’ to you. Don’t be one of those people; don’t say ‘No’ to yourself. Say YES! Say ‘Yes’ to yourself, to your dream, to your goals and to your life. You might not succeed today. You might stumble, and fall, and make a mess of things. You might find roadblocks and hit more ‘No, thank you’ than ‘Yes, please!’ moments on your road…but you KEEP GOING! Figure out what went ‘Wrong,’ why that particular road led you to a ‘No,’ but keep believing in yourself. Listen to your heart and keep going.
And if at the end of each day, you can put your head on your pillow and say to yourself, ‘Well, I tried my best today, and I’ll try my best tomorrow and that’s all I can ask of myself. Thank you for this day and I’m going to try again tomorrow,’ then that was a good day. Strive to be the BEST YOU that you can be, dreams, desires, messes and all. Learn from those mistakes; those missteps and ‘Failures,’ but realize nothing is a failure if you can learn from it and keep moving! Learn, grow and keep going. Believe in yourself and KEEP GOING.”

Kim’s entrepreneurial spirit is defined by resilience, creativity, and a strong commitment to helping others. Her journey shows that success is not defined by how many times you fall, but by how many times you get back up. Kim Goldfeder Clarke’s story is one of passion, persistence, and purpose. She continues to inspire others with her belief that it’s okay to stumble, as long as you keep moving forward.
